| Thriantas are considered by the A.R.B.A. to be a "fancy" breed, yet are a medium-sized rabbit, ranging up to 6 pounds maximum show weight. They're healthy and hardy, and produce large litters easily. Since all original stock in America was imported, there are limited quantities of the breed available, but most shows are now seeing 20+ Thriantas per show, and specialty shows are starting to be held across the nation. It's hard to believe that we're already facing our 2nd National show, the 2008 Thrianta Nationals! |

ATRBA GUIDE BOOK IN THE WORKS Your ATRBA Board of Directors are pleased to announce that work has begun on our first Guide Book. The editors for this project will be Valerie Robledo (newsletter editor) and Bob Whitman (ATRBA president). We hope to have it ready by early to mid 2008. So having said that, there is not a great deal of time to work on soliciting articles, pictures and selling the advertising spaces. We are calling upon our membership, of nearly 200 strong, to fully support this important endeavor. The size of the Guide Book will be 5 ½ x 8 ½ inches. The number of pages will depend on the support we receive through articles, photos and ads, but we certainly will produce a book that the membership present and future will be proud to receive. This first edition will be in circulation for at least 5 years, so your advertising dollar will be well spent. Some of the items will include; complete history of the breed from start to present, club history, winners circle, what to breed and look for in the Thrianta, Standard of Perfection, Constitution and By- Laws, housing, breeding, feeding. We would like to have a listing of Grand Champions, so if you have the legs needed to grand your animal, get them registered and sent in to be listed. Also we would like to have short essays on you and your Thrianta rabbitry, with perhaps a photo of two for a section of the book. Let’s all strive to make this, our first Guide Book top notch.
